Upkriti is a registered NGO based in India with an ensemble of ardent youths striving to center the margins of society. Humanity either triumphs or fails as a whole - impelled by this conviction, we seek to take upon welfare projects to emancipate, enrich and empower people who have been subject to legacies of exclusion and oppression, primarily the tribal communities of India.
Upon devout inquiry, observation, and assessment, we were exposed to the trials and tribulations of the tribal communities of India, enkindling our urge to assume responsibility for the mountainous task of their upliftment.
Upkriti Organization has dedicated itself to building and scaling impactful education, nutrition, and livelihood practices for children in tribal belts and demonstrating an environment of a better future ever since.
Our thrust areas include children, women, conservation of natural resources, wetland conservation, ecotourism, environmental education (for both urban and rural schools), creating livelihoods for people belonging to the tribal communities, and scientific investigation into local environmental degradation. Our endeavors include releasing underprivileged children from economic, social, and physical poverty. The goal is for each child to become a responsible and fulfilled adult.
We aspire to improve life in all forms through holistic engagement and empowerment programs to ensure dignified and healthier lives for marginalized communities and enable equitable development of society.
We seek to understand the situation of the poor and work alongside them toward the fullness of life. We strive to explore, understand and conserve the natural world through research and responsible engagement with society.
More than just a help
Fostering, strengthening, and expanding a platform that earnestly serves people across the nation in their greatest need, relieve their suffering, and promote the transformation of their condition of life. We solemnly swear to stand in solidarity in a search for their justice.

Upkriti firmly believes that no other tool is more competent in steering us towards a harmonious and self-sufficient society than education.
Alarmingly, according to the 7th All India Education Survey, 2002, less than half of India's children between the ages of 6 and 14 go to school.
Approximately 8.5 crore children between the ages of 5-6 do not go to school due to financial crises (Source: TOI, 13 January 2019). It has proved to be a growing concern and a hindrance to national development.
Our programs aim to replace empty minds with open ones by building a dynamic and equitable world through inclusive and good-quality education.

As the ancient saying goes - If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap.
If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.
Upkriti believes that it is our social responsibility to aid the ones among us who are vulnerable to social impediments such as poverty, lack of community support, discrimination, and lightening the burden of those in need Upkriti is your friend in need, and Upkriti is your friend indeed.

And we have always believed that if there can be a better tomorrow, there can be a better life and a better world for everyone to live. Upkriti aspires to give wings of hope to the disadvantaged, be the bearer of new possibilities, and be the light at the end of the tunnel for those in need.
